The Wells Garden Club made the Wells Museum project possiblewith. New landscaping, funded by a state Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation Beautification, grant secured by Senator Elizabeth O’C. Little, designed by Pro Care, Speculator. A donation from the Town of Wells assisted the Historical Society with purchase of the building as well as materials needed for its renovation. Gratitude was extended to the many volunteers who donated hours of time and expertise in carpentry, plumbing, painting, sanding, framing, etc. turning the dream of a town museum into reality.
